Homework week 47


Kerstin’s  Chocolate Muffins;  about 15 pieces

Ingredients
  • 100 g butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 ½ dl  sugar
  • 1 ½ teaspoon vanilla sugar
  • a little salt
  • 4 tablespoons  cocoa
  • 2 dl flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  •  
Method
·      Preheat oven to  200 ° C.  Put  paper cases on a baking tray.
·      Melt the butter in a small saucepan.
·      Combine flour, cocoa,vanilla sugar, salt and baking powder in a large bowl.
·      Make a well in centre.
·      Whisk  eggs and sugar in another bowl.
·      Combine the egg-mixture, the flour-mixture and in the end the melted butter.
·      Use a wooden spoon, stir until just combined (don't over-mix).
·      Spoon mixture into paper cases.
·      Bake for 10 minutes or until firm to touch = not too long. Stand on the tray for 5 minutes.
